Grandma, Poppy and Tick-tock Gran

Marks gran came to stay. That makes her Josiah’s great gran. The funny thing is, when we mentioned it to our land lady her response in a very Dutch accent was along the lines of “Oh my gosh…will she be ok with de stairs?! Yah?!” We found that highly amusing when later on the week tick-tock gran (apparantly so named because of the amazing grandfather clock in her house) was found at the local free gym doing all sorts of exercise!

We also had Mark’s Mam and Dad here at the same time. It was wonderful quality time with the three of them, and Josiah certainly seemed to love having the attention. I especially loved how much Josiah giggled at his Grandma and Poppy, and how comfortable and unwilling to move he looked after having a nap cuddled up to tick-tock Gran. He was certainly much more grizzly the couple of days after they left, I think he missed the company.

One thing we all commented on, was how even though it had been a long time since we last saw each other, and lots had happened in that time such as the addition of Josiah, it felt like it had been no time at all. It’s wonderful how that can be sometimes!

Now you see him…

Now you don’t!

We also had fun discussing who Josiah looks like. Do you see the family resemblance here?

Well I think Josiah had a lovely time bonding with his Daddy’s side, and we look forward to more in April with all our family!
