Josiah has two striped friends. They came into existence a couple of weeks ago, when Mummy went out shopping and bought two pairs of socks, some wool and some buttons. They were later introduced to Josiah for family home evening that day.
They are quite a funny pair. Peachy is very much a girly girl and likes to do ballet and tell Donk off for the silly things he does. Donk likes a little bit of discotech and is by far the sillier of the two. For one he got chickenpox at the same time as Josiah, and could not stop scratching much to Josiah’s amusement!
Peachy and Donk like to have adventures. Today they had an adventure while trying to find the owner of a lost shoe. It didn’t fit Peachy, it didn’t fit Donk, it didn’t fit Mummy…Of course it was Josiah’s! He found the whole episode quite hilarious.
The point is, Peachy and Donk are right now my favourite toys for Josiah. They give him giggles, learning, and interaction. And they are probably the cheapest toys ever. I thoroughly recommend making sock puppets for any little ones you have, and they will be delighted!
